MONARCH I-TAX TDS UPDATE:

MONARCH I-TAX AND  M-TDS Software has been updated to add support for FVU 4.8. This version has just been released by TIN-NSDL and is applicable from 29th September (today).

You can prepare your TDS/TCS Return from software after update software from www.i-tax.in or update from software menu online update. There after prepar your TDS return for Q2, F.Y.-2015-2016 (A.Y.2016-2017).

The most notable changes in FVU 4.8 is Removal of correction mode C9 (addition of challan) in correction statements.

This means that you cannot add a new challan while filing a correction statement. We are checking with TIN-NSDL to clarify what is the procedure they have enabled as a replacement for this correction mode.
